Course Highlights
A pro active approach to making work visible both inside and outside the institution will be encouraged, through regular student led live events, screenings and project shows.
A dedicated, shared studio space to make, experiment, film and rehearse, and project spaces to regularly try out the exhibition of ideas.
Time Based Media is open minded in its approach - you will be encouraged to
experiment with which ever combinations of media best suit your ideas. This could include less traditional fine art media such as the use of writing, the voice, or elements of music.
If you want to, you will be able to work, and be assessed, collaboratively.
You will have artist's - style studio space to make things, experiment, and project spaces to regularly try out the exhibition of ideas. There is production equipment for Video, Sound, Film and a Digital Media Centre for editing and digital post production, animation facilities and specialist studios for Filming/Performance. You will also have access to college-wide workshop facilities- e.g. photography, woodwork, print etc.
